How do people connect with or watch Battle Scraps?  The show itself airs on our website but we reach viewers through many online and offline avenues such as Facebook, Youtube, Huntvids and other video sites, forums, newsletters, flyers, word of mouth, and more.  We are always developing new ways and new partnerships to help grow our viewership.

What are your stats?  We have put in place new and more precise statistics software in the fall of 2012 so we're still gathering data through the end of Season 3 in March, however as we begin to air the show our data is trending towards 1500 to 2000 unique visitors a month with an almost 50% retention on return visitors as our platform stands.  

Other quick stats:

Facebook page likes – 1290 and growing 

Other video site views – 20,000 + and growing (Huntvids specifically – 12,218 & growing)

Newsletter subscribers – 327 and growing

Other note of interest on Stats – We've just inked a deal to partner with 'On Wisconsin Outdoors' newspaper and website as a content provider in return for cross promotions and advertising.  Their paper reaches 50,000 and their website generates roughly 3,000 unique visitors a month after only 11 months.  In the same vein, we're working out a deal with Huntvids.com on some cross promotion.  Currently their videos/pages have received over 13 million views.  A homepage, top featured video can get anywhere from 3,000 to 10,000 views in a weeks time, which is just part of the deal we're ironing out.  These new partnerships have the potential to double or triple our trending unique visitor data mentioned above but will definitely grow our viewership and reach.

What do we get if we partner with you?  Depending on the partnership you will get some or all of the following:

- A video of your choice in our video section

- Direct promotion in the show through billboard or commercial or both

- Promotion through social media, specifically on Facebook

- and other potential promotions depending on the agreement 

 


Video 1 (2 min):  Preview of Battle Scraps Season 3 – If you are tight on time this gives you a quick look at the teams and quality of the production.


Video 2 (13 min):  Episode 1 of Season 1 – This shows how we flesh out the competitors history and connect the audience to these people, their stories, and their passion for the outdoors.  You probably only need to watch the first 6-7 minutes to see how we go about it.


Video 3 (11 min):  Episode 2 of Season 2 – This shows how we weave through the different storylines that develop from the teams as they hunt through out their season.  Basically how a typical episode is edited.


Video 4 (13 min):  Bonus Episode of Season 2 – This is a non-competition hunt from me, Peter Mikhael.  This demonstrates the raw production value and capabilities I bring to the table as hunter, an editor, a field producer, and as an educator.  To show that I can "hang with the best of them" in this industry.  And its from this knowledge base that all the teams draw from as I strive to educate everyone who competes on this show in an effort to raise the overall production quality of the footage captured by these average, everyday folks.  (if you like hunting, its just a really interesting hunt)
